How WhatsApp message fees work
Meta charges for messages by category and by the recipient's country. These fees are separate from your Sehaby subscription, and you pay them to Meta directly with the payment method you add in WhatsApp Manager. We add no markup.
Marketing
Offers, announcements, cart reminders and any promotional message. Always sent with an approved template.
Utility
Updates about an existing order or transaction, such as order confirmations, shipping status and appointment reminders.
Authentication
One-time passcodes for signing in or confirming an action.
Service
Your replies within 24 hours of a customer's message, including team and automated replies. Since 1 October 2026, each number gets 1,000 free service messages a month, and Meta charges the ones after them at your market's utility rate.

Utility and authentication rates drop automatically as your monthly volume to the same country grows.
Meta may apply an international authentication rate of SAR 0.2240 to very high-volume senders based outside this country.

- Rates depend on the category and the recipient's country, and Meta publishes them on its WhatsApp Business Platform pricing page.
- You add the payment method to your Meta account in WhatsApp Manager, and Meta bills you directly.
- Without a payment method at Meta, service replies stop once the free 1,000 of the month are used, and paid messages can't be sent.
- Regular (non-template) messages are only allowed within 24 hours of the customer's last message. After that, you need an approved template.
- Sehaby doesn't collect these fees and adds no markup.
